Best friends?

Can anyone tell me what defines a true friend?

We wanted to surprise you today because it was your birthday. We thought as friends, we should be there to celebrate this special occasion with you. But what happened in the end? You gave countless excuses and filled everything up with lies which seems so ridiculous. What have we done to gain all these in return? Nothing but lies and us feeling disappointed? You choose to go out with someone else and lied to us saying stuffs like your mother didn't allow you to go out. Hey, we went up your house today. Wanting to surprise you but we got a surprise for our own as well. It was knowing that you'd already went out with someone else and the part when you said your mother didn't allow you to go out was a total lie. It's not the first time you lied to us, it's been countless time. When will you start changing and set your piorities right? Who was there for you whenever you needed someone? Remember few days back when he left you all alone and who was there to accompany you by texting you all the way? So, you really forgotten all 'bout that? Think, is your conscience clear after doing all these stuffs to repay back? Is this the way? Seriously speaking, i'm like extremely disappointed in you. People ask 'why are you so affected by her?'. I try to figure it out but i found no answer to that question.

Cause it seems like we aren't even a least important to you. We're nothing, is it?
